Removing Restored Products

Re-Archiving & Removing Un-Archived products

When users choose to restore a previously archived product within the Archived Products Page, a seamless process awaits them with updated status and action columns. This functionality is designed to provide users with a straightforward way to revive products that were once archived.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Archived Products:
  2. Start by accessing the "Archived Products" page from the main navigation menu or designated area within the program interface.

  3. Select Product for Restoration:

  4. Identify the specific product you wish to restore from the archived list. Utilize the selection mechanism provided, such as checkboxes or dedicated selection buttons.

  5. Initiate Restoration Process:

  6. Once the desired product is selected, locate and activate the "Restore" action button. This action triggers the restoration process.

  7. Visual Changes in Status and Action Columns:

  8. Upon successful restoration, observe immediate updates in the "Status" and "Actions" columns for the selected product.

  9. Status Column:

  10. The "Status" column will dynamically update to reflect the restored status, indicating that the product has been successfully brought back into the active inventory. The status will be prominently labeled as "Restored."

  11. Actions Column:

  12. Simultaneously, the "Actions" column will transform to accommodate the restored product. Instead of the initial "Restore" button, users will now find a new button labeled "Re-Archive." This allows users to seamlessly re-archive the product if necessary in the future.

Benefits

  • User-Friendly Interface: The streamlined process ensures that users can effortlessly manage archived products.
  • Clear Status Indication: The "Restored" status provides a visual cue, confirming the successful reintegration of the product into the active inventory.
  • Efficient Re-Archiving Option: The presence of the "Re-Archive" button in the actions column allows users to archive the product again with a single click, maintaining flexibility in inventory management.

Note: Ensure users are familiar with the documentation for the main product archival process, as this restoration process is an extension of that functionality.
